Take Your Pick!

It is one of the UK’s all-time favourite game shows, and now you can have your own ‘Take Your Pick!’ night!

During gameplay, contestants answer questions without saying yes or no or shaking or nodding their heads for one minute. If they fail, they get the gong! For those successful with the minute game, go on to answer general knowledge questions, get three out of four questions right, and pick a key from a set of 14. The host then tries to buy back the key with increasing amounts of cash.  At the climax of the show, contestants have the choice to “take the money” they have earned so far or “open the box”, which contains prizes, a jackpot or a booby prize. 

There are 14 boxes numbered from 1 to 14. Three contain a booby prize, one contains the jackpot, nine contain cards announcing other prizes, and one box includes a key to box 13, which could be a nice or a booby prize. 

Nobody, including the host, should know which prize is in each box. However, you can announce a list of the actual prizes before the game starts and display them on stage.
