Bingo in the Movies – The Accountant 2
The Accountant 2 While we British think bingo lingo was invented here, it is truly an international language with influences from across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and America, to name a few. It grew out of the melting pot of international warfare, including the Boer War and the First and Second World Wars. Belgian poet Max Eslkamp published probably the first book on Lingo under Germany’s occupation of Belgium during the First World War in 1918. So it is not surprising to see ‘lingo’ crop up in all sorts of places. The opening scene from The Accountant 2 (starring Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal) is one such instance. Filmed at Lazaro's Latin Lounge in Los [...]

Insured Draws
Uses of a Lottery Machine – 6 Insured Draws Guinevere II is perfect for insured draws You can offer eye-watering, life-changing prizes without financial risk because you can insure against a win, and if someone does get the jackpot, then the insurance company pays out. The cost is a fraction of the jackpot you offer. With an insured draw, there is no guaranteed winner, so these competitions typically also have a smaller-value guaranteed prize. Woosh Live used an insured draw for its Free-to-enter £1 / $1 Million lottery, and it also had a guaranteed £5,000 / $6,000 jackpot draw. When you run an insured draw, you need tight security and strict protocols, which we can advise you on. For [...]
Pairing Draws
Uses of a Lottery Machine - 3 Pairing Draws Why Guinevere II is perfect for the FA Cup Draw The best example of this in the UK is the FA Cup draw, as it is a 'pairing draw'. Guinevere II is perfect for this type of draw, and with a capacity of up to 80 balls, you can use it to create 40 pairs (though for draws, 64 balls is [...]
